La Rinconada Country Club’s Golf Shop is staffed by friendly and knowledgeable Professionals who are ready to help you with all your golfing needs.
The Golf Shop stocks apparel and equipment from all the leading manufacturers in the golf industry. The professional staff will be glad to assist you with ordering merchandise that is not currently in stock. Member discounts apply to all purchases.
Each of the industry leading club manufacturers makes at least one visit to the La Rinconada driving range every year for demo days. Demo Days give you a chance to try out their latest equipment and their full line of irons, woods and wedges. Custom fittings are available often employing state-of-the-art launch monitor equipment that will give you instant feedback and help your fitter customize your equipment and maximize your performance.

THE COURSE:
The golf course has been kept true to its classic design. Fairways are tight and tree-lined. Greens are small and well-guarded by bunkers. The variety of holes and shots make the course one that Members enjoy playing day after day. The golf course is complemented by an extensive practice facility, one of the best in the Bay Area. The club is committed to water conservation, having recently reduced irrigation by 30%, accomplished by drilling wells and enlarging a storage pond.
Practice Facility
The superb practice area at La Rinconada is among the best in the Bay Area. The flat 300-yard long driving range is serviced by a large, all-grass teeing area. Six green/bunker complexes provide realistic targets.
The separate short game area allows you to perfect the endless variety of shots that you will need around the greens. Undulating fairway and rough areas simulate the uneven lies that await you on the course. A very large sand bunker allows for every conceivable stance and lie. An elevated tee is also provided for wedge practice.

Player Development
Professional Golf Instruction & Player Development
La Rinconada has a staff of six PGA professional who are available to help you improve your golf game. Whether you are looking to fix a flaw that just crept into your swing or want to completely revamp your game, our instructors will work with you to determine the best approach for improvement. Both private lessons and group clinics are available. For players who are new to golf, our Head Golf Professional teaches a "Golf 101" series of classes that introduces beginners to all aspects of the Club and the game. The course is designed to bring new golfers to the game in a comfortable environment.
A three camera state-of-the-art swing video system is installed in the teaching area. The instructors take advantage of this system to help you see what is going on with your golf swing and how you are progressing. In addition, members can sign up to use the video system on their own. It has an easy to use touchscreen interface, and even allows you to download your swings to a USB drive to take home for further analysis on your PC.
